The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner is a device for measuring and analyzing the foot pressure distribution in static and dynamic modes. With high resolution and advanced electronic range, this pressure scanner has very high accuracy and is therefore a reliable tool for quickly diagnosing possible complications and choosing the best treatment method. The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner has the highest sensor density among all foot pressure scanning systems available on the Iranian market. For this reason, it has a high capability for assessing foot pressure distribution in children.
The device has valid medical standards and approvals and is designed in accordance with quality requirements for accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
International standard for medical device software development
Production license from the Iranian Medical Equipment Department
Electrical safety standard for medical equipment devices
ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management Standard
The results obtained from the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner are effective in diagnosing the type of foot arch, examining weight distribution, and identifying biomechanical and postural issues. This helps specialists find the cause of chronic foot and back pain. By identifying high-pressure and ulcer-prone areas in diabetic patients, this pressure scanner allows for the prevention of ulcers using appropriate insoles or shoes. Due to its high sensor density, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner is ideal for evaluating children’s foot pressure and identifying potential abnormalities at early stages. It is also used for analyzing and improving sports performance by providing accurate information on pressure distribution and balance, making it a suitable choice for research centers and clinical settings.
Operating Modes of the PEDYN2300 Foot Pressure Scanner
In static mode, the PEDYN2300 plantar pressure scanner accurately provides contours of plantar pressure distribution and evaluates the segmental distribution of the patient's weight in the four coordinate zones. The pressure scanner also extracts diagnostic parameters of the medial arch of the foot and provides the specialist with the patient's balance graphs.
The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner is able to automatically extract diagnostic parameters of the inner arch of the foot in dynamic mode and display pressure contours during walking. In addition, this pressure scanner analyzes the patient's balance during movement (CoP Trajectory) and analyzes the patient's step frame by frame. Graphs related to force, pressure and area are also provided in proportion to time.
Using the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner, the patient's balance can be examined in a standing position on two legs and one leg. In this way, the patient stands on the pressure scanner in a normal position and without movement for a certain period of time. During this time, the distribution of foot pressure and changes in the center of pressure are recorded and displayed. The results obtained help to identify the origin and assess the degree of balance instability.
In dynamic mode, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner assesses the patient’s balance by recording and analyzing the path of the center of pressure (CoP) during gait. The scanner continuously records the pressure points on the foot and calculates indicators such as CPEI, which are based on the displacement of the center of pressure, to indicate the degree of balance changes and instabilities. This information is displayed graphically and helps to identify possible abnormalities.
This report helps clinicians to identify Functional problems and pressure ulcers risk by analyzing functional disorders, high-pressure points and postural balance to design effective treatment plans.
The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner assists a range of specialists in various medical and health fields. Orthopedic technologists, physical and rehabilitation medicine specialists, occupational therapists, diabetes specialists, sports physicians, corrective exercise specialists, physiologists, neurologists, and pediatric specialists can all use this scanner to improve diagnostic and treatment methods.
