PEDYN2300 Foot Pressure Scanner

The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner is a device for measuring and analyzing the distribution of foot pressure in static and dynamic states. With high resolution and advanced electronic circuitry, this pressure scanner offers exceptional accuracy, making it a reliable tool for quickly diagnosing potential issues and selecting the best treatment method. The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner has the highest sensor density among all foot pressure scanning systems available in the market, making it highly capable of evaluating foot pressure distribution in children.

Applications of the PEDYN2300 Foot Pressure Scanner

The results obtained from the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner are effective in diagnosing the type of foot arch, examining weight distribution, and identifying biomechanical and postural issues. This helps specialists find the cause of chronic foot and back pain. By identifying high-pressure and ulcer-prone areas in diabetic patients, this pressure scanner allows for the prevention of ulcers using appropriate insoles or shoes. Due to its high sensor density, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner is ideal for evaluating children’s foot pressure and identifying potential abnormalities at early stages. It is also used for analyzing and improving sports performance by providing accurate information on pressure distribution and balance, making it a suitable choice for research centers and clinical settings.

Operating Modes of the PEDYN2300 Foot Pressure Scanner

Static Mode

In static mode, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner precisely provides the contours of foot pressure distribution in a stationary state and evaluates the segmental weight distribution in the four coordinate regions. This pressure scanner also extracts diagnostic parameters of the internal foot arch and provides balance assessment graphs for the specialist.

Dynamic Mode

In dynamic mode, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner automatically extracts diagnostic parameters of the internal foot arch and displays pressure contours during walking. Additionally, this pressure scanner analyzes the patient’s balance during movement (Center of Pressure Trajectory) and provides frame-by-frame gait analysis. Graphs related to force, pressure, and area over time are also provided.

Static Balance Assessment

Using the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner, the patient’s balance can be assessed in both double-leg and single-leg standing positions. The patient stands still on the pressure scanner in a normal posture for a specified period. During this time, the distribution of foot pressure and changes in the center of pressure are recorded and displayed. The results obtained help in identifying the source and evaluating the degree of balance instability.

Dynamic Balance Assessment

In dynamic mode, the PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner assesses the patient’s balance by recording and analyzing the center of pressure trajectory (CoP) during walking. The scanner continuously records the pressure points on the foot and calculates indices such as the CPEI, which is based on the displacement of the center of pressure, to indicate balance fluctuations and instabilities. This information is graphically displayed, helping to identify potential abnormalities.

The PEDYN2300 Foot Pressure Scanner: A Professional Tool for Various Specialists

The PEDYN2300 foot pressure scanner assists a range of specialists in various medical and health fields. Orthopedic technologists, physical and rehabilitation medicine specialists, occupational therapists, diabetes specialists, sports physicians, corrective exercise specialists, physiologists, neurologists, and pediatric specialists can all use this scanner to improve diagnostic and treatment methods.
